Tips voor Veilig Online Winkelen
Aangezien je hier waarschijnlijk bent omdat je van winkelen houdt… en dus inmiddels ook interesse hebt in online winkelen leek het ons verstandig om een aantal tips te bieden om bijvoorbeeld oplichting en dergelijke tegen te gaan!
We horen namelijk regelmatig dat mensen zijn opgelicht bij een aankoop via een website en uiteraard willen we niet dat iemand hier de dupe van wordt, en ZEKER onze leden niet!
Het ALLER belangrijkste om op te letten bij een aankoop op internet is het zogenaamde thuiswinkel waarborg logo:

Consumenten kunnen de leden Thuiswinkel.org herkennen aan het logo: Thuiswinkel Waarborg. Met het voeren van dit keurmerk onderschrijven de leden de ‘gedragsregels Thuiswinkel Waarborg’, zoals deze door de organisatie zijn vastgelegd. Als consument kunt u ervan op aan dat deze bedrijven de Algemene Voorwaarden Thuiswinkelen en de gedragsregels van de vereniging onderschrijven, dat ze zich houden aan en aanspreekbaar zijn op naleven van de relevante wet- en regelgeving.

Niet vooraf betalen naar een rekening Regelmatig horen we van consumenten die een geldbedrag overmaken naar een rekening en vervolgens nooit een product ontvangen. Vaak is dit bij aankopen via bijvoorbeeld Marktplaats of Ebay maar steeds vaker is het zo dat dit via “gewoon” uitziende websites wordt aangekocht. Let wederom goed op dat u hierbij een aankoop doet bij een website met een thuiswinkel waarborg of een ander logo. Vaak is het zo dat wanneer bedrijven hebben geïnvesteerd in bijvoorbeeld Ideal dan is het duidelijk dat het om een “echte” winkel gaat. Dus, wanneer er alleen de mogelijkheid is om te betalen naar een rekeningnummer dan raden we aan om nog even door te winkelen of anders in ieder geval een diepgaander onderzoek te doen. Uiteraard zijn we altijd bereikbaar voor vragen hieromtrent!
Voor iedereen met een Engelstalig besturingssysteem
We hebben nog een extra tip voor iedereen die een Engelstalig besturingssysteem heeft, namelijk de Shopping Genie is namelijk EINDELIJK in Nederland! Deze “genie” verschijnt als een geest uit een lamp wanneer je in een zoekmachine zoals Google zoekt naar een product online. De Genie laat je dan precies zien waar je het product dat je zoekt het goedkoopst kunt vinden. Op dit moment is de Shopping Genie dus in Nederland maar alleen nog maar voor mensen met een Engelstalig besturingssysteem jammer genoeg! Zodra er meer nieuws is over een Nederlandstalige versie dan brengen we je uiteraard direct op de hoogte!

Great points…I would note that as someone who really doesn’t write on blogs much (in fact, this may be my first post), I don’t think the term “lurker” is very flattering to a non-posting reader. It’s not your fault at all, but perhaps the blogosphere could come up with a better, non-creepy name for the 90% of us that enjoy just reading the posts.
I think this is really clever that the writers of these articles are dropping in these very clever hints and jokes, I have never picked up on them personally but I will certainly keep my eye out from now on.
I’d have to give carte blanche with you one this subject. Which is not something I typically do! I love reading a post that will make people think. Also, thanks for allowing me to comment!
